AI in My Local Personal Computer

Starting a little side project, getting some local AI set up on my computer. Big thanks to the brilliant scientists and engineers who've made it possible for us to tinker with this AI tech. I'm downloading all the bits and bobs I need. This time I'm going to inject my machine with Google's Gemini 2 and Meta's Llama 3.1 models. Fingers crossed it turns into a top-notch machine learning setup that's useful for me, and hopefully for everyone else too! So, I put the local and API models head-to-head, and guess what? The API model blew it out of the water! See for yourself in this video.

NSA Track Crime Via Google Ads

The NSA reportedly tracks Google ads to identify Tor users.  The intelligence agency uses the XKeyscore program to monitor who clicks on ads placed on Tor's anonymous search pages.  While the goal is to track criminals, the move raises concerns about privacy and mass surveillance.
