Thanksgiving Celebration

Today, the Dawis Mekarsari 17's meeting was held at my house. Since it happened to be the same day as my daughter's Quran recitation completion ceremony (khataman), we combined it with a thanksgiving celebration. We pray that this blessed occasion brings happiness, abundant sustenance, and continued harmony.

Hot Weather

Yo, it's October already and it's supposed to be pouring, right? But where I live, it's like a desert! Super hot. What's the weather like where you are?

Life Is Hard

There are life challenges that shouldn't be avoided, but faced with calmness and patience.  It may sound easy to say, but it is truly incredibly difficult to do.  Only those with a high level of awareness are willing and able to achieve this.  Even then, they may still have to endure tremendous suffering.

Konoha Elite

The Konoha elite are currently at loggerheads due to a Constitutional Court ruling on candidacy requirements for regional heads.  Some elites find the decision absurd and believe it's misleading the public.  What are the key points of this decision?  * Political parties and their coalitions no longer need to meet the minimum vote threshold of 20-25%.  * The minimum age for candidacy for regional head positions has been lowered to 30. These two points are causing major controversy within the Konoha elite circles.

AI in My Local Personal Computer

Image
Starting a little side project, getting some local AI set up on my computer. Big thanks to the brilliant scientists and engineers who've made it possible for us to tinker with this AI tech. I'm downloading all the bits and bobs I need. This time I'm going to inject my machine with Google's Gemini 2 and Meta's Llama 3.1 models. Fingers crossed it turns into a top-notch machine learning setup that's useful for me, and hopefully for everyone else too! So, I put the local and API models head-to-head, and guess what? The API model blew it out of the water! See for yourself in this video.

Great Mood

This morning is absolutely freezing but beautifully clear.  This kind of weather really gets my blood pumping and puts me in a great mood. Hopefully, I can keep up this early rising habit and continue to develop my potential, bit by bit, as long as it gets done. Wouldn't you agree, mate?

Happy Indonesian Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day to the Republic of Indonesia! Today, August 17th, 2024, all Indonesians from Sabang to Merauke are joyfully celebrating the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. Blogger Client Apps

I really love the look and feel of Google's native Blogger interface.  It's sleek and user-friendly, so I'm glad I made the switch.  Hopefully, I'll be more consistent with writing about my life, experiences, lessons learned, and of course, the latest news.

Switching to Blogger

I just switched my blogging platform from Tumblr to Blogger.  It seems like Tumblr is now charging for custom domains, so I decided to find a free alternative.  While I was at it, I went ahead and gave my whole website a makeover.
