A 7.2 Earthquake in Russia
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the east coast of Russia's Kamchatka region on Saturday (17/8) local time.
According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), quoted by Reuters, the earthquake was at a depth of 51 kilometres (32 miles).
The US National Tsunami Warning Centre issued a tsunami warning following the earthquake in Russia.
